SATURDAY PRACTICES

With Easwaramma Day less than two months away, please keep your Saturdays free in case your guru schedules extra practices. 📅 This requires dedication and support from parents. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Let’s ensure our offering to Swami is pure-hearted and sincere! ❤️🙏

YEARBOOK KUDOS!

✨A huge shoutout to our incredibly talented SSSE children! Your yearbook submissions were absolutely breathtaking, capturing the true spirit of Unity so beautifully. 🌟🎨 Your creativity and dedication shine so brightly— be proud of your amazing work! 🙌✨

📢 REGULAR  SSSE DRESS CODE REMINDER

🙏 Our gurus are gently reminding students about the SSSE dress code, but some are not following the guidelines set by Swami. We request our dear parents to kindly enforce the below dress code:

Boys: Kurta with pants or a white shirt with khakis—❌ no jogging pants or jeans. Girls: Kurta with chunni or a white shirt with khakis, with a mandatory shawl or chunni.

If you have any questions, please reach out. 📩 Gurus may contact you if your child’s attire does not meet the dress code.

 PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF:

  1. ⌚️Punctuality

  2. Drop-Off  – SSSE is not a drop-off program. For safety reasons, at least one parent should remain at the center in case of emergencies. Parents are encouraged to participate in the enriching Satsang and Devotion programs available during SSSE.

  3. 🛻Pick-Up – For safety reasons, students will not be sent outside for pick-up. Please come inside the school to collect them. Remember to use the side door entrance not the front of the school. Thank you for your understanding!

  4.  🎤Consider Staying for Bhajans– We love seeing our SSSE classes filled with eager learners, and we also encourage students to stay for bhajans and experience the full program. Speaking of bhajans, every third Sunday of the month, bhajans will be led entirely by SSSE students! If your child would like to participate, please join this WhatsApp group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/LH1BplFh68TE8MVzSloDbV

🪷Thank you for working with us to create a nurturing and 🪷

🪷 disciplined environment for our children! 🪷

IMPORTANT DATES FOR SSSE FAMILIES- Mark Your Calendars!

  • There will be no class on April 13th due to Spring Break. Classes will resume on April 20th, which is the final session before May 4th, when all students will present their offering for Easwaramma Day.

  • Parents, please keep Saturdays as open as possible for potential practice sessions, particularly as we approach the Easwaramma Day  event. Specific dates, such as April 26th and May 3rd, are examples of when extra practices outside of class may be scheduled, and further details will be communicated closer to the date.

  • Easwaramma Day: Sunday, May 4th Gurus will provide updates and coordinate practices in the coming weeks and months. Please ensure children are available for Saturday practice sessions outside of regular Sunday classes to prepare for heartfelt performances in honor of Bhagawan.

  • Graduation Day: Sunday, June 1st!*** PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE

Thank you for your support and dedication! 🙏

REGIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL UPDATES:

This is a friendly reminder regarding Swami's Centenary Sadhana offerings from the SSSE Wing (Global Council, United States).  These have been created and put together by a dedicated team working along with Sumana Murali, our National Education Coordinator.

Think of these as several ideas to create a custom and personalized gift for Swami!

1)  Sadhana offering: There is a list of spiritual practices and resources based on the 9 Forms of Devotion. Parents, children, and gurus can choose from the list and practice them individually, as a class, or as a family.

2) Book offering - "Dearest Swami":  This is open for Gurus and children to submit articles, poems, and/or artwork for a book.

3) Sai daily calendar: Created by an SSSE alumni, this daily calendar with messages from Swami can be used by everyone! It is a great way to include parents to make this into a "daily family minute" by reading and ruminating on the day's message together. Click, read, and be inspired!

Our endeavor begins on November 23rd 2024 and will end November 23rd 2025. We pray for inspiration, guidance and determination so that what we undertake helps not just each of us, but also our families and communities positively.

We have an entire team of loving and dedicated teachers who have put this together. If you have any questions please email the following ID- sadhana-education@sssgc-usa.org

Any questions on SSSE related activities please reach out to SSSE coordinator, Sister Sugandhie Hapangama, sse@loudounsai.org
